What we collect

From the contact form we collect the name, email address, chosen study, preferred date if you give one, plant area if you give one, the line or characteristic you name, and the message. If a study proceeds, we also keep the letter of scope, invoices, and copies or photographs of the plant records needed for the folio. Those records may contain names of inspectors and supervisors written on the sheets. We do not ask for identity-card numbers or payment-card numbers on this website.

The site is static. The host may keep ordinary connection logs, such as an address and a time, to keep the server running. We do not run an advertising network.

Why we use it

Enquiry details are used to reply, to decide whether the books fit a study, and to prepare a letter of scope. Study files are used to draw the folio and to hold the briefing. Invoices are used to account for the fee. The legal bases we rely on are steps toward a contract, performance of that contract, and legal obligations to keep accounting records. A plant note published on the reviews page is used only with the person's agreement to the wording.

Retention

Enquiry messages that do not become a study are kept for twenty-four months and then deleted or anonymised. Study photographs, working sheets, and the letter of scope are kept for five years after the briefing, because a plant sometimes asks us to re-open a code dispute and because accounting records must remain available. Invoices are kept for five years. Connection logs are kept for the period the host sets, which we ask to be no longer than ninety days. You may ask us to delete an enquiry sooner if no study was opened and no invoice was issued.

Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act of Thailand you may ask to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it where the law allows, to restrict or object to certain uses, and to receive a copy in a portable form where that right applies. You may withdraw consent where consent was the basis, without affecting work already done. You may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee. We respond to requests within thirty days, or we write to explain a lawful reason for a longer period.

International transfers

The company keeps study photographs on a disk in the Wang Thonglang office. They are not placed on this website. If the website host or our email provider stores messages on servers outside Thailand, that transfer is limited to enquiry correspondence and site logs, and we choose providers who commit to protect the data. We do not sell personal data. We do not send plant sheets to a marketing list.
