The practice
A small office that still reads the sheet itself.
The registered business is Cognit Quarry Analytics Co., Ltd. It was established in Bangkok in 2014. The office is at 18/2 Lat Phrao Road, Khlong Chaokho Laem, Wang Thonglang, Bangkok 10310.
How the company began
Niran Chaiyaporn spent nine years on the quality desk of a printed-circuit plant in Lat Krabang. Neighbouring shops kept asking him to redraw a month of scrap tickets, because the tally on the wall and the book in the drawer described different weeks. In 2014 he registered the company and rented a room on Lat Phrao Road. He called a month of tickets a quarry: you dig through it, and you do not pretend the stones are sorted until you have held them.
The present office in Khlong Chaokho Laem came later, when the photographs of books needed a table long enough to lay a week side by side. Malee Srisuk joined in 2017 from the incoming desk of a fruit packer in Samut Prakan. Arthit Wong joined in 2021 to carry visits and to sit in briefings. Two part-time readers copy figures from photographs. The company is still that size.
The people who will see your books
Niran Chaiyaporn
Principal. Leads Plant Quality Pictures and decides when a file should be declined because the books are the wrong kind.
Malee Srisuk
Charting lead. Incoming lot reviews and capability briefings sit with her. She will not collapse a month into one number.
Arthit Wong
Plant liaison. Arranges the visit, photographs pencil columns from the side, and stays for the briefing.
How we work with a plant
The plant owns the records. We borrow copies. Original books stay on the line unless a manager asks us to carry them, and even then they go back with the folio. Folios are written in English. On the floor we speak Thai with supervisors when that is the language of the shift.
We mark unread rows as unread. We name codes the inspectors actually use, even when the procedure has a cleaner word. We leave the folio with the quality manager. Weekly charting after the briefing is a later conversation, not a silent extension of the fee.
What we hold to
A chart that fills every gap looks finished and misleads the room. A briefing without the person who wrote the column is a rehearsal. A first-article sheet is a guest, not the week. These are the habits the office argues for, including with clients who would prefer a smoother page. Plants around Bangkok, and the estates in Samut Prakan, Pathum Thani, and Chonburi, are the ones we know well enough to visit.
